Some favorite Indie Streets • 06/14/10
Since the inception of the podcast, we’ve produced over 52 programs. Fifty two.
It’s easy to forget that kind of thing. So I hopped on the site and prepared a list of some of the most listened-to episodes. There’s some great stuff here.
Personally, I really love how the podcast has grown throughout the years. As such, I recommend any new listener jump in with the newest episode.
Many folks really like when we attempt to give things the benefit of the doubt, but it’s clear that we’re not on-board ourselves. One of my favorite things about the show is listening to Eric try and extrapolate an album that I can tell he pretty much hated. It just goes to show, however, that we’re open to exposing things that we think folks will like even if we’re not the biggest fan.
Indie Street is more than just me and Eric reviewing music. In fact, one of our most historic moments was in our conclusion of the Department Of Podcast sister program. Not only does it chronicle the end of the Department Of Safety in Anacortes, Washington but it is also one of the only recordings of the ‘reunion’ of The Microphones.
Along those same lines, a couple months ago, I gave you a preview of a new sister program: Very Important Podcast. This is likely to expand in the next season, so I’d love to hear what you think.
What have been your favorite episodes of Indie Street this season? Of all time? Is this operation here important to you? Do you support it?
If you haven’t yet given... why not?
